Ryan Sadorus

Ryan’s musical journey took an unconventional path as he came up in the dance music scene during the mid/late 90’s in his days in the military in Japan, spending many nights in Tokyo listening to DJ’s like Ko Kimura, DJ Emma, Ken Ishii and Satoshi Tomiie. He would later move to the island of Guam where he had a monthly residency at the island's largest club, “Club Globe” where he helped to book world renowned talent, playing alongside them as the club’s resident. He also hosted 2 weekly on air radio shows on the islands two biggest radio stations (Hit Radio 100 and Power 98 FM) where he would mix vinyl live on air to help educate the island audiences about dance music from all over the world. He was also a resident DJ at the infamous “Ground Zero” club, known for his deep, driving after hours sets. Moving to Detroit in 2001 and meeting up with Brian Kage would set the course for the next 20 years as they built BerettaMusic and traveled for gigs on both east and west coasts, at places like Tronic Treatment in NYC and to the west coast to play at the End Up in San Francisco. Ryan helped discover Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson and many other well known artists from Detroit and expose their music to the world through their labels BerettaMusic and Beretta Grey. In 2022 both Ryan and Brian decided to go “all in” on the label and have released 3 vinyl releases this year from Ryan himself, Airport Society and rising house music star Nic Joseph with more to come. They continue to sign new and exciting music to be released on the label with a “vinyl first” approach in the coming year.
