Steve Smith (44)

Vocalist, born and raised in San Francisco, California. Smith sang lead tenor with the group The Blenders on the Lawrence Welk show until the group disbanded in 1967. He stayed on the show as a featured vocalist and sang both as a part of a barber shop quartet and as lead vocals in the Curt Ramsey Quintet. He left the show in 1969 to pursue a solo career. He performed on The Carol Burnett Show and as part of 1950s group The Diamonds.
