Об исполнителе:
Yoni Nameri, singer, creator, and composer, started his career in the early 1970s as a soloist in the IDF (with the hit "Everything I Wanted"). Upon his release from the IDF, he broke into a successful solo career with many classic hits in Israeli music such as the immortal "Wonder Rose", "The Best Friend In My World", the classic "Take Me Under Your Wing" and other classics that made him a quality and unique singer. In the mid-1970s he emigrated from Israel and started a musical career mainly in France as well as in Germany. At the end of 1980, he released the EP "One On One", in which the theme song that he composed stood out (lyrics: Tirtza Garnot, arrangement: Nancy Brandes), but the album in which Nancy Brandes played keyboards, Gerry Eckstein on electric guitar, Meir Israel on drums, and Peter Wertheimer on wind instruments, was not successful. In 1981 he lost his wife and son in an accident. He himself was seriously injured in the same accident, and as a result, he returned to Israel. In September 1985 Yehuda Barkan's film "Shoes Compote" was released, in which Yoni played and sang. In 1989 he released his second album "Quiet From Another World", with most of the songs composed by Nameri himself. Among the songs on the album stood out "Hold me", "Warm Waves", and "Falling Stars" (both with lyrics: Naomi Weingarten), "Eagle's Way" (Lyrics: Ehud Manor, played by *Eric Clapton* on guitar), and a re-performance of his first solo hit "Wonder Rose". *Dave Stewart*, half of the Eurythmics duo arranged the album's songs. In the early 90's, Yoni turned to medical studies and for over 25 years has been practicing his unique spine rehabilitation, combining Western (conventional) medicine and alternative medicine.
