Techno Destructo

Gwar character who works for the Master's army and is trying to destroy Gwar for betraying the Master after they were banished to Earth. Techno's brothers are Bozo Destructo and Sawborg Destructo. The character was created and played by Gwar co-founder Hunter Jackson. However, due to constant fighting between Hunter and Dave Brockie and Hunter being in Detroit for a period of time during the recording of their first album Hell-O!, Dave got Don Drakulich to play the character and sing "Techno's Song" on the album. Later, Hunter returned to Richmond and was able to regain control of the character. Hunter and Don began performing as two different versions of the Techno Destructo character, resulting from a split personality, with Don's character eventually becoming Bozo Destructo. Hunter sang on the revised version of "Techno's Song", which was "The Private Pain of Techno Destructo" on the album Carnival Of Chaos. This song was also edited on the album release due to not being able to get the rights for the Star Trek Spock vs. Kirk fight sequence song used in a portion of the song while the characters are fighting. When Hunter left Gwar in November 2000, he took the Techno Destructo character with him and began independent professional wrestling and doing other side projects as Techno. Hunter returned in October 2020 to perform as Techno Destructo with Gwar for their 30th Anniversary concert broadcast, which was released as Scumdogs XXX Live! In July 2021 it was announced that Techno Destructo would join Gwar on their 2021 30th Anniversary tour.
