Do NOT confuse with US West Coast engineer Peter T. Lewis active at the same period in New York and Los Angeles. US engineer active in New York, NY. Originally a disc jockey from West Coast, he moved to New York in 1964. Worked with Ferrante & Teicher, Steve Karmen, Arnold Eitis, Arthur Rubinstein, Count Basie. He produced sessions at many of NYC’s most renowned recording studios including Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios, National Recording Studios, New York City, A&R Studios, famed Gotham Studios. He moved to Seattle, WA, in 1974 (still working in NYC until 1979) and worked at studios like Kaye-Smith and eventually started Audisee in 1991. Mentor of Marti Jane Robertson.
