Outfly

Swedish project formerly known as Dynamic (18). Band members: Erik Skåpdal, Christian Röhss, Claes Möller, Nicola Maniette and Anna-Karin Skogsberg Outfly was formed in Göteborg (Sweden) in late 2001 by four producers: Erik and Christian from Aura (9) while Claes and Nicola from Kyloe Music Studios. They started their collaboration in 2000 resulting in two tracks "La Marche de la Lune" and "Make You Believe". Originally they called the project "Dynamic" and it was under this name that they had a success, mainly on the Internet. After uploading the songs onto mp3.com they noticed - to their surprise - that many people visited their site to listen to their music. It resulted in more than 3 million spins online, making them an instant overnight Internet music success. One thing that distinguished Oufly from other bands in the genre was their ability to perform their music live. Claes and Nicola both have a past in rock music and are skilled musicians. Claes is a vocalist and plays the guitar while Nicola plays the drums, percussion and the guitar. Erik takes the technical role of the performance, backgrounds and sound effects and Christian plays the keyboard. Instead of using several different vocalists, as they did on the album, they decided to settle for a permanent female vocalist and front figure. For this job they found Anna-Karin, who also is a professional dancer. After the interpolation of the vocalist Anna-Karin, the project's name changed from 'Dynamic' to 'Outfly'.
