İsmet Topçu

He was born in 1966 in Adana. His father is from the Sivas Koçgiri tribe, and he is related to Hasret Gültekin. He moved to Germany with his family when he was 9 years old. He started music with a family influence (father plays saz). He also studied guitar for 5 years in Germany, so he is not unfamiliar with western sounds and patterns. He created a unique style by transforming the classical baglama into a four-string electronic form.
