Klapa Tramuntana

Klapa Tramuntana are a traditional vocal group singing in the klapa style from Biograd na Moru in Croatia in the 1970s. The group concisted of Joško Krvavica, Neven Grgić, Boško Pelicarić and Zvonko Santini, while a little later the female members Svitla (Svetlana) Horvaćanin and Melita Babić-Ajduković joined them. The crown of their success was the victory at the 5th Festival of Dalmatian klapas Omiš in 1971, when the klapa "Tramuntana" won the first prize of the expert jury and the winning Golden Shield of the Omiš festival which opened the door to official female klapa singing.
