Multicultural orchestra from Gothenburg, Sweden consisting of established folk and groove musicians, who know each other well from groups such as Markatta, Simbi, Den Fule, Amanda etc. ZigZag makes the program ”Världsvisor” which consists of swinging and rich folk music from different parts of the world. The songs that are sung are all, with some exceptions, translated into Swedish. The repertoire is an infectious and competent mix of Nordic fiddle sound, West African / Caribbean music and oriental melodies and rhythms.
