Bob Dick is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, performer, sound reinforcement engineer and recording engineer. He started playing guitar at age 8, bass at age 11, and other instruments post-college. He performed with the Central Mass. Youth Symphony, the Greater Boston Youth Symphony, and Central District/All State Orchestras from Massachusetts during high school and then studied for 2 1/2 years at Berklee College of Music in Boston before beginning a professional career. He has played with bluegrass bands Bear Acker & Billings Gap, Rabbit in a Log, Rick Lang and Friends, Front Range, SloGrass, Valerie & Walter Crockett and the Oxymorons, Blackstone Valley Bluegrass as well as many other bands. He has performed on stage with Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, Tim & Mollie O'Brien as well. He currently has two solo recordings, "Tidings of Comfort and Joy" (2000) and "Life's Highway" 2014. He has produced and or engineered recordings for Southern Rail, Way Station, Rick Lang, Chuck & Mud, and many other New England bluegrass and folk music artists.
