The band was born in Turin in 1990. The first sound of the Karamamma is characterized by Ska and Reggae influences, still in search of original harmonies and arrangements. Texts are strongly ironic, dealing with issues of topical, such as drugs, racism, politics and AIDS, but always in with lightness and irreverent manners. Karamamma with a long series of concerts throughout the peninsula, has been earning the well-deserved fame of a "Live Band" thanks to extremely engaging performances able to combine quality performance with a strong energy impact
