A North London thouroughbred of Indian/West-Indian descent, she recorded an underground joint with Lewsis Parker, "Blood", in 2003, making it into the top playlists of Disorda and Shortee Blitz. The single was the best seller in MSN Records in Camden in 2003. Hot on the heels of this success she supported Jehst and Terra Firma on tour. Returning in 2018 as a grime MC, Souljah quickly gained recognition through appearances at Eskimo Dance and Grime Originals, and went on to release her first grime single "Head to Toe" featuring WAVE Gang's Jon E Clayface in April 2019.
