Norman Matthew

Dallas, Texas-based vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer originally from El Paso, Texas. He is the founder of The Sound Foundation, Dallas, TX. Matthew first made a name for himself as the leader of the El Paso, TX, band, Lylah. While on the road with Lylah as part of the Vans Warped Tour, Matthew struck up a friendship with Keith Barney and Trevor Friedrich, who were playing on the tour with their band 18 Visions. When 18 visions broke up, Matthew, Barney & Friedrich formed Never Enough. Matthew later founded Murder F.M. He left music in 2016 to focus on raising his son but then returned with As Strange As Angels who's self-released 2019 single “Miracle” reached No. 23 on Billboard’s mainstream rock chart. In 2021, he pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child and under a plea agreement must register as a sex offender, face five years of community supervision, and have no contact with the victim.
