Spanish journalist and broadcaster (b. Ferrol, 1947). Director and broadcaster of "Esto no es Hawai" (1979-1982) and "Diario Pop" program in Radio 3 (RNE) between 1982-2006. He studied sociology in Madrid, where he combined his studies with his attraction to the novelties that were produced in the pop and rock music scene of the 1970s. In 1974 he wrote regularly for music publications such as AU, Ozono and Disco Express. He is considered one of the main promoters of the countercultural movement 2 that emerged during the first years of the Spanish Transition called "La Movida Madrileña". He has collaborated in various newspapers and magazines, such as El País, El Mundo, Diario 16, La Vanguardia, Faro de Vigo, among others. He has also published various books, such "Bob Dylan", "¿Quién mató a Jimmy Hendrix?", "El rock ácido de California" (1975), "De qué va el rollo" (1977), "Bob Marley" (1980), "Historia de la música pop española" (1986) or "Siniestro Total. Apocalipsis con grelos" (1993). Radio: working in "Onda Dos" entre 1975-1979, since 1979 he has become co-director with José María Rey and Tomás Fernando Flores of "Diario Pop" on Radio 3, a radio station focused primarily on the current pop and rock genres away from the mainstream and the charts.
