Τάκης Μπουγάς

Τάκης Μπουγάς was a greek composer, husband of Άννα Φόνσου. Died in November 2nd of 2021. He was born in Piraeus and lived all his childhood years in Kastella. His father was a captain. His uncle who was constantly by his side will become the reason for him to take up music. He studied from the age of 8 at the National Conservatory under the late chief musician Michalis Vourtsis, from where he graduated at the age of 20 completing his music studies (harmony, counterpoint, fugue, orchestration and conducting). At the same time he graduated from the University of Athens as a Mathematician. From early on, he collaborated with big names in Greek music. Harry Clynn, whom he considers a great teacher, made him conductor.
