Pressure were formed in 1981 by Manchester 'Pips' DJ Alan Maskell following his stint in Que Bono (A John Peel favourite). They were signed to Harbor Records of Canada for a short period although this never produced any material for release. The signing to Harbor lead to several members leaving or being asked to leave which was the beginning of the end of the band. They finally split in 1983. The original line up on the track on 'Your Secrets' was as follows: Janice Addnett - Vocals Alan Maskell - Guitar Tony Court - Bass Steve Atherton, Mark Atherton - Synthesizers Steve Connor - Drums
