American vocalist, born in Australia in 1985 and raised in Hendersonville, Tennessee, USA. Her early recordings - the first recorded when she was a teenager - were straight jazz vocal albums, comprised mostly of standards. Rachael Price is best known, however, as the vocalist in roots pop band Lake Street Dive. She also performs in the duo Rachael and Vilray, with jazz singer guitarist, Vilray (who does not use his family name). Rachael Price is also a regular guest on the syndicated radio program, Live From here. Her father is composer/musician/conductor Tom Price (3).
