Romanian folk singer born as Ana Grigorescu, November 7, 1939, in Cornățel, Argeş County. Later, would be adopted by the family Piuaru, name under which it will become well known. Talent inherited from parents, a family of priests. Singing in church choir was apprenticed. At age 14, leaves home, followed later studies at the School of Music in Bucharest. After high school she married and followed parallel courses of the University of Music, Bucharest, Department of classical singing. She was hired as a soloist ensemble [a2550132] for four years, and later moved to assemblies Orchestra Perinița and [a2625332]. She sung at night, 10 years in Hotel ‚‚Intercontinental’’, Bucharest and 11 years in the Restaurant‚‚Bucharest’’. She had many tournaments in the country but also in France, Austria, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia, Canada, China, Korea, Vietnam and America (Arizona, Florida New York). From 1979 until her retirement was professor of singing - folk music, at the Popular Art School, Bucharest.
