Jan "Bumba" Lindqvist

Swedish bassist, member of the group Trio me 'Bumba, born July 1, 1939 in Katarina parish in Stockholm. In 1957 Lindqvist formed Trio Bumba (later Trio me 'Bumba) on Södermalm in Stockholm together with the singer and guitarist Tommy Wener (1939–2002) and the accordionist Bertil Lindblom (born 1940). The group is best known for the songs "Spel-Olle ganglåt" (1963) and "Man ska leva för annan" (1969). [2] Trio me 'Bumba is still active in the 2000s.
