DJ Sunflowrfish

Pioneer West Coast female Dj, live electronic musician/improviser, and arts/dance music event producer in the early nineties under the moniker Dj sunflowrfish (later also known as saKAna), Parker co-founded the San Francisco Bay Area’s SPaZ electronic music and arts collective, running the independent experimental electronic music labels saKAna Audio, and SPAZ Records, releasing solo and collaborative work (Planet 6 and Actsyllabod) on CD, tape, and vinyl media. Parker also helped establish the Autonomous Mutant Festival—an annual, week long free event in Pacific Northwest forests that had its 20th iteration in 2016.
