Rolf Sieker

Banjo player and songwriter, originally from Berlin, Germany. Sieker was one of the first 5-string banjo players in Europe, recording Germany’s first bluegrass album. He moved to the United States in 1997, first to Nashville, Tennessee and then to Austin, Texas in 2000. Sieker has worked as studio musician. He also played with Bob Schneider’s Texas Bluegrass Massacre and his own group The Sieker Band. Brother of Ulrich Sieker.
