Objectivo

Portuguese group formed from groups like Os Ekos and Showmen. The name of the group was chosen by a vote by viewers of the television program "Zip-Zip". The first formation included Mário Guia (drums), Zé Nabo (bass), Tó Gândara (guitar) and Luís Filipe (guitar and keys. After a short time, Gândara and Filipe would be replaced by Mike Seargent and Kevin Hoidale. From here the group started to include American and British musicians. The first album included the themes "At Death's Door", "A Place In The Sun", "Gin Blues" and "I Know That". In 1970 they recorded their first stereophonic record, a single with the themes "Dance of Death" and "This Is How We Say Goodbye". They performed at the 1971 Vilar de Mouros Festival. They recorded an EP and three singles. They also collaborated on the album "Blackground" by Duo Ouro Negro. Grupo português formado a partir de grupos como Os Ekos e os Showmen.
