Armindo Neves

Portuguese guitarist and arranger, born in Lisbon (1955). Worked in the Banda do Casaco and Quarteto 1111 in the second half of the 1970s, while simultaneously making his mark as a record arranger for the likes of Gemini (44) and Tonicha. Also performed extensively in jazz as well as pop concerts with many artists, most notably Dulce Pontes. In 1993, he orchestrated and conducted Portugal's Eurovision entry 'A cidade até ser dia' by Anabela.
