A Mexican bolero duet during 1959–2000, consisting of married couple of singer and actress Carmela Rey (born 7 December 1931 in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico; died 13 February 2018 in Mexico City, Mexico, aged 86) and singer and songwriter Rafael Vázquez (born 26 March 1929 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico). Known as "Mexico's Romantic Couple" they were hugely successful in the 1960s and 1970s, and made together 121 records and won numerous awards.
