Об исполнителе:
West Coast rap legend from South Central, Los Angeles. Also referred to as "Dub". W.C. is the older brother of Mixtape Legend, Crazy Toones. W.C. made his debut as a beatboxer, for local groups like The Organization with The Unknown DJ. Later got his break in the music industry by Ice-T. Along with his (then) DJ, DJ Aladdin, the two formed a duo group called Low Profile and signed a record contract with Priority Records in late 1988. Alongside their label mates, N.W.A.. W.C. is from the same neighborhood and grew up with Ice Cube. After the break up of Low Profile, Ice Cube would later name Dub's new group, WC and the Maad Circle. The M.A.A.D. Circle consisted of W.C., Crazy Toones, Big Gee, and an unknown rapper from Compton named Coolio. Coolio left the group after the first album, to persue a solo career. W.C. then joined forces with Ice Cube and Inglewood rapper Mack 10 to form Westside Connection. Unlike his past releases, Dub found commercial success with Westside Connection. Dub is constantly touring with his brother Crazy Toones and Ice Cube. He makes a brief appearance as the gunman in "Friday" movie. He appeared in "The Art of Rap" documentary by Ice-T and Dub now hosts his own radio show, "Dub's Corner". Honorable Mention W.C. features and rare joints: "The Big Beat" by The Organization "Think You Can Hang" by Low Profile from Rhyme Syndicate "Comin' Through" LP. "Color Blind" by Ice Cube "Quick Way Out" by WC and the Maad Circle from "Tresspass" OST (Original Soundtrack)
