Christopher Grier

Christopher Grier was born in 1922 and educated at Glenalmond and King's College, Cambridge. After war service in the Black Watch, he became Music Officer for Scandinavia for the British Council. In 1949 He became Music Critic of The Scotsman and in 1952 lecturer at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, Glasgow.
