He obtained his Bachelor of Music and soloist degree C in Singing and Opera from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (1972-1980 or 1974-1980); and his Master of Music degree (with higest distinction) in Singing from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (1984-1986 or 1982-1985).
