Ricardo Turró

He was born on 13/05/1915. Musician, critic and translator. He studied music at the "Escuela Municipal de Música". He practiced musical criticism at home and abroad. His reviews were published in Buenos Aires Musical, La Razón, Ars, Lyra, Clarín (PK), Teatro Colón, among others. He prepared over 2000 notes for record labels. He had several auditions of musical cycles by Radio Nacional (PK), Municipal (PK), Splendid and Cultura. He produced television reports to great figures of the lyric. He was invited by the U.S. State Department to the first conference of music critics. He obtained the "Diploma en reconocimiento al Mérito", as a member of the "Comisión de Homenaje a Franz Liszt" and the platelet of the Teatro Colón (PK). He lectured in various institutions. Founder of the "Asociación de Críticos Musicales de la Argentina". He died on 20/03/2008 at the age of 92.
