Josie Brown
Настоящее имя: Josie Brown
Об исполнителе:
Josie Brown was noted as one of the Best Country Artist of the year in 1974. She appeared on That Good Ole Nashville Music Show and worked with Little Jimmy Dickens, Jim Ed Brown, Lynn Anderson, Donna Fargo. Brown had three songs on the country charts in the mid-1970s: "Precious Memories Follow Me" hit #44 on the U.S. Country charts, "Both Sides of the Line" hit #56 and "Satisfy Me and I’ll Satisfy You" hit #83. She was a great singer doing the song to the sound track of "So Sad About Gloria". Born 1942 Pennsylvania, PA Died August 18, 1998 (aged 55–56). Though her recordings are not as numerous as many artists, her memory will live on in the country music industry. She worked real hard to get a contract with STOP Records and RCA and was very popular touring across the country. She also was recognized with appearances with Jim Reeves Enterprises. I just wish Her music could still be played on the country stations around the world. I feel she should be enducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame" and the "Grand ole Opry". Josie should be in the same league as Jeannie Sealy, Jimmy Dickins, Porter Wagoner, Jm Ed Brown, Lynn Anderson, Donna Fargo etc.
