Настоящее имя: Modell D'oo
Об исполнителе:
Modell D'oo (original name) was formed in 1985 in Vienna, Austria, by Markus Moser and Stefan Grissemann. Influenced by contemporary electronic and avantgarde acts like Sparks, The Residents, Kraftwerk, Swans, Fad Gadget, Cabaret Voltaire and The Young Gods, Modell D'oo are known for their unique soundtrack works, namely for Carl Andersen's underground movies "I Was A Teenage Zabbadoing" (aka "Vampyros Sexos") and "Mondo Weirdo" (aka "Jungfrau am Abgrund") in the late 1980's. Put on hold in the beginning of the nineties, Modell D'oo got active again - as Modell Doo – in 2003. Since then, they released a full-length retrospective album ("Dinky Diamond", 2011, Klanggalerie), a strictly vinyl compilation of their "Music for Movies, 1987-1993" in 2012 and a 7'' of two instrumentals called "N.A.T.E.". A concept album with all new material by the name of "Orbit Utopia", based on the lives of 12 scientific innovators, is released in September 2014. In 2021 MD, together with the actor Robert Reinagl, released an utterly uncategorizable sound work based on 18 short narratives by Thomas Bernhard (all from his bizarre 1978 book "The Voice Imitator").
