Patrik Karlsson (2)

Swedish classical guitarist and lutenist, born February 24, 1975 in Markaryd. Karlsson started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and made his debut as a soloist in Helsingborg when he was 17 years old. He has premiered almost 80 chamber music works. Patrik Karlsson also plays lute, electric guitar, baroque guitar and mandolin. He has collaborated with early music soprano Maria Keohane, free-form singer Lindha Kallerdahl, guitarist Anne-Mette Skovbjerg in Duo con Forza, recorder player Katarina Widell in EN.D.E, Basho-Ensemble and guitarist Mats Bergström. Patrik Karlsson arranged strings and wrote a composition for the progressive hard rock band Vindictiv's record - Ground Zero, he also participates as a musician together with his ensemble EN.D.E, baroque violinist Ann Wallström and percussionist Leif Karlsson.
