Celtic Dawn

White nationalist skinhead band from Ireland identified with the Rock Against Communism scene. They originally formed as a traditional Oi! band called Skin Appeal in 1987 and supported The Business in 1988. In 1989 the original singer left and the band shifted focus to National Socialist beliefs in line with their new singer, and changed their name to Celtic Dawn. They played several very successful gigs in their hometown of Dublin, and in 1991 they played their first UK show supporting Skrewdriver. Around this time the demo tape was recorded but it never received an official release. The band line-up changed a few more times before their debut album "Faith and Fatherland" was recorded in 1996.
