Hugo Hammarström

Swedish music teacher, composer and organist, born 30 April 1891 in Frötuna parish, Stockholm county, died 28 January 1974. He worked as a cantor in Klara Kyrka, Stockholm in the years 1929-1965 and in 1939 started Stockholm's folk schools' singing classes, later called Adolf Fredrik's music classes. Until his retirement in 1957, he was the leader of music education at the school.
