Bosnian folk singer, as well as traditional sevdalinka, singers in former Yugoslavia. Silvana was born in Doboj, Bosnia and Hercegovina on 19 March 1953 into a Muslim and ethnically Bosniak family.She is the youngest sister of singers Silvana Armenulić and Mirjana Bajraktarević. Both of her sisters were well known singers in the former Yugoslavia. They died together on 10 October 1976 in a car accident . . After her sisters deaths, Dina was approached to release music. Hesitant to sing professionally at first, she ended up releasing three extended plays and had major success with the song "Sudbina je tako htjela" (Fate Wanted It That Way). She then took a break from music to concentrate on her family before making a return to music in 1987 with a full-length studio album, She subsequently retired from recording.
