Nostromo

Space-themed alias of Kenny Denton who produced several disco covers of science fiction film themes. The name 'Nostromo' was taken from the spaceship featured in the movie 'Alien' by Ridley Scott (1979). - 'The Black Hole', composed by John Barry, was taken from the movie of the same name directed by Gary Nelson and produced by Walt Disney Productions (1979). The B-Side, 'Gom Jabbar', refers to the 'Dune' universe by Frank Herbert and is described in it's glossary as a 'Specific poison needle tipped with meta-cyanide used by Bene Gesserit Proctors in their death-alternative test of human awareness'. - The 'Alien' theme, composed by Jerry Goldsmith, was taken from the movie 'Alien' by Ridley Scott (1979). - 'The Imperial March' is based on 'Darth Vader's Theme', composed by John Williams (4), from the movie 'The Empire Strikes Back' by Georges Lucas (1980).
