Swedish harpsichordist and celesta player, born January 6, 1936 in Stockholm, died September 17, 1995. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm 1952-1954 for Olof Wiberg (piano) and Margit Theorell (harpsichord). 1954-1957 continued his studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel for E Müller and then further education for R Gerlin, Kenneth Gilbert and Gustav Leonhardt. She also studied musicology at Stockholm University. In 1951, Nordenfelt made his debut as a pianist but was already a frequently hired harpsichordist, not least in ensemble contexts. (from 1956 at Drottningholmsteatern performances). Nordenfelt appeared as a soloist, in addition to Sweden (also radio / TV) also in Bern, Basel and Paris and has made several recordings. Nordenfelt was employed as a piano and harpsichord teacher at Stockholm Municipal Music School in 1965 (ord. From 1973) and in 1976 as a harpsichord teacher at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. She also gave summer courses in harpsichord and continuum playing at Lunnevad Folk High School from 1972. Nordenfelt also worked to draw attention to early Swedish music. In addition to her own performances, she contributed to the publication of music by, among others, Johan Agrell, Johan Helmich Roman and Henrik Philip Johnsen at the publishing house Autographus Musicus. In 1979, her handbook Playing the harpsichord was published.
