Об исполнителе:
American gospel recording act from Cleveland, Ohio that recorded five albums during the 1960s and 1970s. The group consisted of sisters Cheryl Jones (b. August 10, 1945), Gail Jones (b. June 10, 1947), and Phyllis Jones (b. July 4, 1949). The Jones sisters began singing gospel music in front of their church in the early 1950s. Their father was a pastor and their mother worked with them to hone their craft, gathering around the family room piano to learn harmoonies while all three were in their later teens. Tedd Smith was instrumental in recording their first album, and over the years did many arrangements for them. Once they started singing on radio and events, they were called "The Jones Sisters Trio". They were later featured at many Billy Graham events. When Cheryl married, the group essentially folded. Years later, the sisters returned with a lower public profile but continued to perform. Gail released one solo album.
