Dayne Lee

Dayne Lee is a vocalist and percussionist based in South Carolina. She is known for her understated and compelling vocal approach. Her earliest musical endeavor was a collaboration with her brother Dylan Lee (The Heist & the Accomplice, Washed Out) called Dylan & Dayne. Around this same time, Dayne was featured on a handful of recordings by the artist Toro y Moi. Most notably, Dayne Lee can be heard on the tracks "Low Shoulder" & "I Can Get Love" by Toro y Moi. A photo of Dayne Lee was used as the cover art of Toro y Moi's "So Many Details" 7-inch single, which features Hodgy Beats courtesy of Odd Future records on the B-Side. Dayne provided the vocal intro to "Talk About" on the 'Michael' LP from Les Sins. In 2012, Dayne began recording and performing live with the Columbia, SC based group Dear Blanca. Dayne makes appearances on Dear Blanca's 'Talker" LP, 'Pobrecito' LP, 'I Don't Mean to Dwell' EP, & 'Perched' LP. In recent years, Dayne has retired from live performances and makes the rare studio appearance from time to time.
