Stavros Parginos

Born in Athens. At the age of eight he began his musical journey learning mandolin mandolin in Classical Athens teacher Michael Vaindirli . At the same time , he began his studies as a cellist in the Greek Conservatory of Athens in the class of Dana Hadjigeorgiou where he received his diploma with honors. He has collaborated with various music ensembles and orchestras . He is a member of the Quartet string Arcadea, member string trio (together with Luminita Macavei and Liu Jing) since 2005 , member of Oticons Ensemble performing works Contemporary film music of P. Glass, W. Mertens, M. Nyman and others and inspire Duo ( flute - cello ) . Also he has appeared in theatrical productions as a musician on stage. He is professor of cello and chamber music in various conservatories in Athens. As a cellist and mantolinistas has participated in various Greek orchestras, theatrical productions and recordings , while a constant member of chamber music ensembles and shapes of various musical directions.
