Founded in 1998 in Cologne, Germany as Stars on 45 they quickly changed their name to A Modest Proposal after playing a few shows and releasing a demo CD. Went on a tour of Germany and Austria in 2003 with Zeidun. Disbanded in 2008 after playing their final show as the release party for their 7" "Songs on 33" at Cologne's Sonic Ballroom venue.
