Jof & The Ram

Swiss punk rock band. Formed in 1979 under the name Johnny Furgler & the Raclette Machine, it is regarded as the Fribourg's first punk band. The first line-up featured Franz Treichler on vocals/guitar, Cesare Pizzi on bass and Jacques Schouwey on drums. The band changed its name shortly after Pizzi was replaced by Helene Wubbe in that year. Their only release, a self-titled EP, was recorded in 1979 and released in 1981. The group disbanded in 1983; Treichler and Pizzi went on to form The Young Gods two years later.
