Charles Benefiel

Visual artist born in California in 1967. Benefiel began producing art using a rapidograph (a tool used in stippling) in connection with his diagnosis of severe obsessive-compulsive disorder. Common thematic subjects include symbolic communication (numbers and letters) and dolls. Benefiel has been exhibited in art shows and has been recognized with numerous awards since the start of the 2000s.
