Good Times was formed to celebrate the 2000th episode (in 2001) of the popular daily Dutch soap Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden ("Good Times Bad Times"). This occasional band consisted of four actors from the soap series: Aukje van Ginneken (who played Charlie), Johnny de Mol (Sylvester), Chanella Hodge (Terra) and Winston Post ( Benjamin).
