Born and raised in the South of Italy and currently based in Barcelona, DJ and music producer Phillip Maizza is no stranger to dance music. Having grown up listening to artists such as Eiffel 65, Gabry Ponte, and Gigi D'Agostino shaped his sound towards rich melodies, crispy sounds, and powerful drops. He went on to develop an insatiable thirst for music production and at the age of 14, as he was already making productions and winning remix competitions, further igniting his passion for music. Over the past 13 years, Phillip’s craft has evolved over time. Driven by a fascination for writing catchy melodies and incorporating unique sounds as he creates an ambience that helps listeners to get into the mood of his songs, Phillip enjoys maximizing on the element of surprise through uplifting and energetic drops. Being well travelled and consistently working on improving his sound is how he has come to feature a diversity within his sets. During the course of the years, his songs have been supported by big and established artists such as Fedde Le Grand, Justin Prime, Calvo, Karim Mika, FaderX, Notalike, DJs From Mars, Luca Testa as well as the biggest Italian Dance Music radio station called "m2o". His biggest hits are his remixes of "The Middle" by Zedd, "Paper Thin" by Ez Quew and his single "Waiting For You" made together with Danny Logan. In a convergence of styles and tempos which characterize his show called #SESSIONS, Phillip plays all his favorite music from the past, present, and the future, taking his audience on a sensational journey one genre at a time.
