Simon Neal (2)

Simon Neal is a British piano technician, tuner, and Trevor Pinnock's assistant who lives and works in Oxford. He specializes in evaluating, tuning, transporting, and maintaining harpsichords, spinets, virginals, antique fortepianos, and other stringed keyboard instruments. Neal studied music at the University Of East Anglia and took postgraduate studies in piano accompaniment and harpsichord at the Royal College of Music in London. Simon began tuning pianos under the guidance of Mimi Waitzman and subsequently focused entirely on keyboard instruments. He worked as The Sixteen choir's business manager and an assistant organist at St. Michael & All Angels church in Summertown, Oxford.
