Adam T.

Adam T. / Adam Turkel is an American Pop Artist and musician who began playing in Glam Punk Rock N' Roll bands as a teenager in Baltimore and D.C. in the early 90s. In 1998, he formed The Beatings in Baltimore City who released three 7" vinyl eps and toured with The Briefs and Snatches of Pink in the early 2000s. The Beatings performed with the likes of Sylvain Sylvain of The New York Dolls, 999, and The Backyard Babies and recorded for Pelado Records along with some other Punk indies. He moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1999 where he joined The Heavy Metal Kitchen collective and released seven private press CDs and vinyl lathes only available at art shows and gigs (often under the alias, Bosstichi.) He has become well known for his gig poster artwork and now fronts the stripped down art rock duo, The New Brutarians, along with fashion model and multi instrumentalist, Christina Wright.
