Egypt Central was an American alternative metal band formed in 2002 from Memphis, Tennessee. After John and Jeff left the band in 2012, Joey and Blake went on to create a new band and are now Devour The Day, but before releasing one last album entitled "Murder in the French Quarter", an EP of "a collection of songs in their original versions, before they were dissected and operated on in the studio".
