Сергей Чернобай

Sergey Chernobay was born on December 8, 1924 in the village of Petrovskoe (now Svetlograd), Stavropol Territory and passed on November 15, 2004. He was a composer, conductor and folklorist of his time. 1955 he was Chief Choirmaster of the Государственный Академический Северный Русский Народный Хор. In 1969 he was offered to be the Artistic Director of the Кубанский Казачий Хор, which he then led until 1974.
