Peter Almqvist

Swedish jazz guitarist, born July 17, 1957 in Lund, died in April 2015. In 1980 he formed the acoustic guitar duo Guitars Unlimited together with Ulf Wakenius. In 1985, this duo performed break music during the Eurovision Song Contest. In 1988 he formed his own trio, Peter Almqvist trio, which since the beginning of the 2000s included Hans Backenroth on bass and Rune Carlsson on drums.
