Åke Malmfors

Swedish music director, composer, choir leader and orchestra conductor, born December 2, 1918 in Stockholm, died March 7, 1951 in Stockholm. During his short life, Malmfors was regarded as a promising composer with effective tuning and finely nuanced text interpretation, which came into its own mainly in the choral music that made up most of his production.
